Stanton Moore & Scott Kettner Jam At NAMM 2012

We happened to run across Stanton Moore and Scott Kettner at LP’s NAMM 2012 booth, where the two demonstrated the musical applications of the new Stanton Moore Pandeiro. With Moore on a hand percussion drum kit and Kettner playing a traditional pandeiro, the duo interwove Brazilian rhythms and techniques with greasy second-line street beats. What you don’t see in the video is the huge crowd that gathered to soak in the rhythms.
