Doug Jones Of Taddy Porter — Back To Big Rock
Taddy Porter was formed in October 2007 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The bandmembers grew up in different towns, but came together to create timeless, undeniable rock songs that where seeded, take root almost immediately. As the band began pushing borders beyond Oklahoma City, audiences grew like wildfire in markets like Dallas, Austin, Montgomery, Wichita. Before the quartet released its first album on June 29, drummer Doug Jones said, “Two and a half years of hard work are finally culminating into the biggest day of our lives. It’s at the point where we want to relax, but we know we can't stop now and we are ready to work hard to get this album out to as many ears as we can. We are very thankful to have the team we do and can't describe the excitement that comes with this album.”

Ryan Yerdon knows how to count his blessings. Mike Costaney of River City Extension
Welcome to the new acoustic revolution. Formed in August of ’07 in Toms River, New Jersey, River City Extension has already shared the stage with Cake, The Avett Brothers, Robert Randolph, Nicole Atkins, and Glen Tilbrook (of Squeeze). The band’s unique instrumentation (which includes cello and trumpet, among other rarities) has enabled the members of River City Extension to fashion a sound that combines fiery country blues with the energy of classic punk rock. The band’s bold debut full-length album, The Unmistakable Man, immediately caught our attention at drummagazine.com headquarters, and is scheduled for release in May 2010.

Atom Willard of Angels & Airwaves
Every young drummer dreams of being Atom Willard, who turned pro at the age of 16 when he co-founded Rocket From The Crypt. After putting in time with such alt and punk luminaries as The Offspring, The Special Goodness, and Alkaline Trio, the drummer landed the gig with Angels & Airwaves, the side project of Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge.
