hey
i have a huge set of drum with a mixture of acoustic, timbale, octobans, and roto toms. i also have a large amount of cymbals (sabian) and I’m debating on changing over to Gibraltar tubing and holders so i can do away with some of these space eating stands. i already use some Gibraltar products but do you think the change would be worth it. my kit consist of 2 24” bass drums-toms go 6, 8, 10, 12, 12 ported, 13, 13 ported, 14, 14 ported 15, 15 ported. 14, 16, 18,and 20 floor toms. a suspended 22”. i have included timbales from 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, and 15. roto toms are 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18”. then i round off with two set of octobans 6, 8, 10. 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 on each side of me. my cymbals shadow each side. simply put whats on the left is also on the right; consisting of 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, splashes. crashes are 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, of thin and also same sizes in explosive fast crash. rides are 20” light, 20” medium, 20” heavy and one 24”. i have 3 high-hats 14”, 12”, and 10”. i have snare 14” maple, 14” steel, 13” piccolo, 12” firecracker, and a 6” and 8” timbale snare. i use a lot if bells, and tambs. everything is either mounted or on stands so you see why i have a problem. i have everything set where i can reach it and I’m somewhat worried that if i start changing all over to Gibraltar that it will be a mess. any suggestions?????
