Let’s have another poll, shall we? The question is : How often do you change the resonant head and snare wires on your snare drum?

I don’t do it by the calendar.

Reso head, every two to three batter heads, or upon breakage.
Wires, rarely, but I have been thinking about it.

Been replacing my snare batter heads one at a time with Evans Hazy 300’s and Pure Sound Custom Pro Snare wires and I must say the
improvement in sound is noticeable.

Taye Studio Maple snares: 14” x 4”, 6” and 8”
Ludwig Epic Birch\Maple\Birch snare: 14” x 6 1/2”
Mapex Meridian Maple snare: 14” x 5 1/2”
