Check out the new drum company Ming drums, they were at the 2013 NAMM show, http://www.mingdrums.com/Vintage_Series.php

The vintage series has carbon fiber rims and carbon fiber lug casting too.

The set was just loud as hell, the sound control police showed up at the booth a lot.

But myself I like the Travel Series, it has a small footprint on the ground which is great to tight performances areas to play at, a big drum set will not work for me as I play at tight area, this Travel drum set from Ming set solves this problem, and it has a great sound out of a small set.

Most sets made of wood from different company that make a set the size of these—10” x 4” tom, 12” x 4 tom, 14” x 5” floor tom and 18” x 8” bass drum just don’t sound good enought, this carbon fiber drum set from Ming sounds great, is just projects.

I brought a drum set to be heard.

With the rack you can lift the whole set off the ground in one fast move.

They seem to be good. I went to the store and I tried a snaredrum and it sounded ok.
