I send my condolences to The Tonight Show’s double-bass drumming legend Ed Shaughnessy. He just lost his wife, the famous singer and actress Ilene Woods, who was the voice of Cinderella in the 1950 Disney classic movie. She and Ed were married in 1963 and raised two sons, James and Daniel. I can personally attest to the fact that Ed is one of the classiest guys you’ll ever meet, always with a smile on his face, and a friend to everybody he meets. I’ll be thinking about you all weekend, Ed. I’m so sorry.
