Hey, guys, got a problem with an older double bass pedal.  It’s a Gibraltar Intruder, had it for a long time and still love the pedal’s action, however, it has developed a significant amount of play at the top of the footboard.  A brand new pedal moves only vertically; this one has some horizontal movement.  The lug holding the chain drive to the footboard is plenty tight, so I can’t figure out how to fix this.  My local drum store has sold out to a bigger name, so I can’t get an experienced repair shop to look at it.  Anybody got any ideas, either how to fix it or where to send it?  Thanks in advance.
