I play anywhere from 4 to 12 a month.  i am a working drummer in the Asheville, NC area.  One band i play with has a house band gig every Thursday night, and we usually play one night per weekend.

I have a set gig in Wilkes-Barre, PA (the area that I’m from) 3 Wednesdays/month w/ a local blues guitarist. It’s a gig that I’ve had since May of 2004. It started out as a replacement gig, until the permanant drummer recovered from some personal issues, but quickly became permanant when it became clear that the former drummer wouldn’t be returning. It’s onlt an hour & 10 min. drive from my residence in Allentown, PA making it very accesible even after I moved out of the Wilkes-Barre, PA area in December of 2006!
  I had a weekly gig here in Allentown from Feb. of ‘07 until the establishment closed it’s doors for good in May of ‘08. It was cool while it lasted!
So, for now I play 3 gigs/month!
