I play between 10 and 20 gigs a month, and I’m also the editorial director of DRUM! Magazine as well as this web site. You’re a drummer too — do you do anything else professionally?
Im starting my new business, and it occupies my nights. There are alot of things to do.
I dont play any gigs, but I do play a few times a week.
During the day, Im an Airframe mechanic, and sheet metal fabricator at an aircraft completion center in TN. I do alot of airframe repairs, upgrades and modifications, as well as custom mounting, and installations.
I am an engineering student, and currently working on starting my own business making LED lighting kits for drums. Those two things tend to keep me pretty busy!
I’m a Full time student, and a live theatre Technician, mostly electrics (lighting and effects), some set, and almost no sound (haven’t learned live sound yet, planning on getting it soon)
Hi all. I was a Lehigh County (PA) Deputy Sheriff, I teach private drumming lessons, I have a standing blues/jazz gig on the 3rd Wednesday of every month in Wilkes-Barre, PA, where I grew up & lived until my move to Allentown,PA a little over 5 years ago, I try to spend as much time w/ my family & friends as possible, & I am an avid collector of film & feature televison. Film has always been my “close 2nd” passion to drums & drumming. I also do some consulting work for The Acadamy Group, an independant Behavioral Science Team comprised of former law enforcement & FBI Agents that use Forensic Psychology & the science of Criminology to assist local law enforcement agencies around the country in cases that might have eluded them & need a “fresh pair of eyes”. We’re based out of Manassas, VA. Great post!
