I’ve had some students getting deep into the Funky Primer. Some of them had trouble visualizing adding additional hi-hat notes to the existing exercises, so I came up with this worksheet to help.

Essentially it helps you add quarter notes with your left foot to a series of eighth note rock grooves. helpful for adding more depth to these types of grooves when appropriate…..good rock independence stuff…..
