I wish we could embed pictures on this forum.

@Cfenning - You can add pictures as attachments if that helps.

1) click “choose file” [see attached image]

2) if you want to add more pics, click “preview post” and then repeat

3) you are allowed 3 attachments per post

Each image can only be 100k which is TERRIBLE and I cannot embed. I don’t get it… I am active on many forums (cars, drums, etc.) and none have this sort of policy. strange. How do you expect me to be able to post links to my album which is available for download online?

100k sounded odd as there was supposed to be a scheduled bump in size to 200k.

It was, in fact, not bumped up but has now been fixed.

As for embedding pictures there was an issue in the last iteration of the forum where images imbedded in the posts where a problem. A lot of really large images were slowing down the pages for those that did not have faster bandwidth. If you feel like we should re-examine our policy please let us know why and we’re always willing to give things a second, third, fourth look.
