Greetings. Last Saturday, the stage of Perreto Beach Festival was on Musical Fire, after about four bands, ( which play before), we were set up to play just before the feture band, the tension and expectation was high, we played about three songs and we get into one of the songs which start slow, but in the middle it turns into a fast rumba beat in which I have to perform a timbal / solo. The heat and the intensity and screaming of people was so high that, ( the power went off). We thought that the Festival was over, ( because it was past, 11. pm).  We decide to pick it up, and… ( around 15 minutes), the power came up, well they call the feature band to the stage, Fish Bowl, to close the Festival. I remember when we went to Kansas City for a, ( 5) bands jamming, we were coming from, Houston,  and we were told that it would be the, (Feature Band), but when we were there somebody set up the band in the third line of performing. We did n’t make any splash about it and we jam. After we finished, and came out of the stage, ( all the musicians there told us that we should have been the feature band).  The owner of the place came and apologized to the band saying that we could be sure that it would not happen again with us. In Minnesota, there was not problem because we always were the feature band. Gerry Zaragemca
