Hi everyone, I was hoping to get opinions on what drummers people think are the most identifiable as soon as you hear them. What I mean by identifiable is from a non drummer,average everyday music listener’s point of view. A few of my drum buds and I were talking about this this evening and I would love to get other drummer’s opinions. The first ones that come to my mind would be Neil peart,John Bonham,Alex van halen,Stewart Copeland, Dave Lombardo, Charlie Benante,Ringo, Bill Ward and Dave Grohl. These are just a handful off the top of my head and although I love everyone of these drummers I’m by no means saying these are the best though there are a few that in my opinion are. I know the list could very well be endless and I haven’t even thought about jazz,fusion,latin,funk, etc,Who would be the first to come to your mind? Just wondering.
