Hi Phil! Speaking for myself, I give you my apologies-especially as Moderator of the Forum! I’ve been going through some tough times w/ some Family health issues. Although that’s no excuse, it is the reason that I haven’t been on in awhile.

We’re still here. Anything you want to ask? Anything we can help you with?

Sorry nobody is ever here- maybe we’re all too busy really drumming (I HOPE!!!)- but I have rewrapped a BUNCH of drums - crap/ vintage/and good quality- it is easy and fun! Take the time to rewrap some drums, sand a better bearing edge (look at Internet)- and WALL-LAH!!!! Better than you paid for them!!!! I have an 8” tom that was a kiddie drum (of good quality wood) that I refinished and still use today! Sounds as good as a new DW and I paid $8 for the shell at a swap meet…..........
