Cympad Optimizes Cymbal Washers

Cympad Expands With Optimized Washers

By Radim McCue Published January 1, 2009

Cympad has announced the expansion of its popular product line with the introduction of several new drummer-friendly innovations for 2010. Cympad foam cymbal washers are designed to replace conventional felt cymbal washers — providing greater consistency, durability and cymbal protection while allowing drummers to improve their sound and playing comfort.

Cympad's top-selling "Optimizer" series 40mm washers are now available in 8, 12 and 15mm heights. Previously available only in the 40x15mm model, the expanded choice of sizes offers increased versatility for all types and brands of hardware and combinations of regular and stacked cymbals.

In response to many requests from drummers, Cympad is also introducing specially designed, high-density foam washers for hi-hat clutches and bottom cymbal seats. The new Cympad hi-hat washers enhance the sound and performance of all hi-hat cymbals and fit most major manufacturer's stands and clutches.

In addition, the cymbal accessory specialists have expanded their exclusive range of cymbal washers with a new 100mm "Moderator" model. Recommended for live and studio rehearsal and performance as well as teaching and practice applications, the Moderator series now includes 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100mm Cympads that can be used to incrementally focus and control cymbal sound. The 100mm Moderators are available as part of the new 6???piece combination box set that comes with one each of the 50-100mm Moderators. Both the 6 and 10-piece double box sets (2 each of the 50-90mm Moderators) feature Cympad's attractive, integrated, full-color graphic packaging.

Played and endorsed by the world's leading drummers and percussionists, Cympad is an incredible, affordable and easy to use system for optimizing the sound and performance of virtually all cymbal sizes, types and brands. Cympad foam cymbal washers have been developed to outperform and outlast conventional felt washers while offering drummers a host of additional advantages.
