Are you ready to rock?
The designers at Gretsch have been doing a bang-up job of riding the edge of oncoming trends in drum design, especially when it comes to predicting the reemergence of past movements. So we’re bracing ourselves for the next generation of double-bass bashers based on Gretsch’s introduction of the Energy double-bass drum outfit.
Offered in Grey Steel and Jet Black finishes, only 120 of these massive kits will be made. The 8-piece shell pack includes two 22" x 18" bass drums, 8" x 7", 10" x 8", and 12" x 9" mounted toms, 14" x 12" and 16" x 14" floor toms, and a 14" x 5" snare drum.
Toms feature GTS mounts and “quick” sizes that allow for maximum tone, cutting attack, and thunderous low end. Bass drum mounted single and double tom holders are included, alongside classic Gretsch features such as 30-degree bearing edges, five-lug configuration for 8", 10", and 12" toms, and Gretsch style lugs.
Plus the company has made it incredibly easy to slip behind the double-bass Energy kit by pricing the immense package at just $1,230.99. So if you want to pump with both feet, it would be a great time to check out Gretsch’s new double-kick powerhouse.
