It’s not too late to order one of the super-duper-limited-edition Waterfall Bunbinga drum kits that Spaun is busily crafting as you read this. Only ten kits will be available featuring shells comprised of a maple core wrapped in a beautiful waterfall bunbinga veneer, with silver glass pinstripes inlayed through the center of each drum, sealed with a multi-step high-gloss finish.
Sold as a shell pack with 10" x 7" and 12" x 8" mounted toms, 14" x 12" and 16" x 14" floor toms, and a 22" x 18" bass drum, the kit features Spaun’s proprietary SBR Solid Brass Resonator lugs, double 45-degree bearing edges, and SSS mounts on the mounted toms. If you want to go the whole nine yards, you can order a matching 14" x 5" snare drum with die-cast hoops (according to Spaun, you can get 50 percent off the price of the snare drum by ordering right away).
And as long as we’re talking money, the suggested retail price for the shell pack is $8,395. But before you begin gasping for air, the company assures us that the street price will be around $5,456.
