UFIP Cymbals @ 2012 PASIC
The Italian cymbalsmiths at UFIP used their PASIC appearance to unveil some new percussion sound effects made of bell bronze that would fit nicely into a hand drum rig or drum set. Snare plates resemble a crasher, with strips of bronze that rattle against each other when struck. And the Ximbau is a triangular cymbal that comes with or without tambourine jingles. Each offers a fast, trashy sound that would work great for explosive accents.
