Pintech Makes Splash With New PDK1000

Pintech PDK1000

Pintech Percussion, which has been manufacturing in America since the 1980s, has released their newest drum kit, the PDK1000. The PDK1000, first announced at the NAMM Show in January 2014, is designed to be a beginner to intermediate-level kit with user-friendly features that will appeal to all drummers including heavy-duty ConcertCast series mesh pads for a natural playing feel.

“We wanted to reach another market with our products, but wanted to do so without sacrificing our commitment to quality,” said Ryan Guard, Pintech owner. “We spent a lot of time getting to know what people really wanted in a beginner to intermediate electronic drum kit, and did our best to pack that all into one package that would not break the drummer’s bank.” The PDK1000 includes Pintech’s renowned ConcertCast Series drum pads with independent sensitivity controls on the sides, TC Series cymbals, a full-size 8” mesh kick drum, the Pintech EZv2 module, full rack, hi-hat pedal, cables, and everything else you need. One nice feature of the pads are the Reaction series mesh heads.

The PDK1000 drum kit was debuted at Winter NAMM 2014 with great success. Pintech was awarded the very highly coveted Best in Show award for “Company to Watch”, partly because of the new PDK1000. The kit retails for under $800.

Pintech Percussion has been manufacturing electronic drums and accessories since the late 1980’s, and is a proud American made company that focuses on heavy-duty products that carry a lifetime warranty.
