Double-Strokes From The Vaults

Hi, sports fans! I thought I’d lay some new old stuff on you. When I was 17 I had a teacher named Al Miller. He’s a great drummer and teacher. The first two examples actually came from him, the other two are variations of the first two – you know what I mean.

They’re simply a double-stroke roll between the toms and the snare. These examples can be useful in a number of ways. Just use them as the basics and make up your own variations.
