Who dat! Back with another great practice pad lesson. In this lesson, we are going to take it back to the basics and look at the popular triplet fill using the RLF, FRL formula between the bass drum, high tom, middle tom, and snare drum, but adding a little twist to it for the purpose of playing patterns and motions on the drum set that we are not quite used to and to help to sharpen our muscle memory. I have added the inverted triplet starting with the tom and the reversed inverted triplet starting with the kick. Sounds complicated but once you get the feel for it you’ll love it.
