Rockett Drum Works At NAMM 2012
Elaborate paint jobs dominated the Rockett Drum Works 2012 NAMM booth, where Poison drummer Rikki Rockett personally took us on a tour of maple ply kits and solid shell snare drums that pushed the envelope of unusual finishes. We loved the comic book wrap motif and black-light UV painted finishes, and gawked at the gaudy self-lighting wrap. We saw so many crazy finishes that the elegantly stained Rockett solid-shell snare drums almost looked out of place.
