Taye Drums At NAMM 2012

We visited the Taye Drums booth at the height of the insanity on Saturday’s NAMM Show, when the sound level in the drum sector had reached maximum eardrum-shattering volumes. Nonetheless, we got a chance to check out the company’s new ParaSonic drum kit, a maple and birch line that blends different combinations of the two wood species into each shell, depending on the size and type of drum. We also glimpsed a Walnut Birch showpiece kit, as well as a number of new Snare Center snare drums, including a handsome brushed nickel-over-brass model, and a couple upgrades for the Go Kit.
