Blink-182 Cancels May Tour Dates
Barker's Surgery Cancels Blink-182 May Tour
Due to drummer Travis Barker's tonsillectomy, Blink-182 has announced the cancelation of all their May North American tour dates. The May 10th and 11th concerts at the Winstar Casino in Oklahoma have been rescheduled for Sept. 13th and 14th, but the rest of the shows, including the May 18th show at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, have been canceled outright.
Refunds will be offered for all effected shows except for the May 19th show at Asbury Park’s Bamboozle, but My Chemical Romance is stepping in to fill the void of that three-day music festival ticket.
"The band apologizes for any inconvenience as a result of these cancellations and thanks their fans for their ongoing support," Blink-182 said in a statement on the band's website.
The group is still scheduled to hit Europe in June.
