(Left) A mouse only a drummer could love

Proving that you’re never too old to play with dolls, Anthrax double-bass legend Charlie Benante has taken an odd career turn by working with Disney product developers Holli McHugh and Donald Ferro to create a line of nine Vinylmation figures based on the classic Mickey Mouse character.

Don’t expect to see a cute little mouse in a tuxedo – these dudes have attitude. Available at Disney Parks & Resorts, the 9" mice appear to be wound head-to-toe in a gauze-like material reminiscent of sheet music, creating an almost mummified appearance.

No one should be surprised by Benante’s plunge into the world of design – the drummer has been instrumental in the creation and development of the art and graphic designs seen on numerous Anthrax album covers, t-shirts and more.
