Chicago Drummer Pursues Solo Career
Drummer Drew Hester has decided to leave the legendary band Chicago to pursue a solo career instead. He made the announcement just as the band was preparing to kick off its summer tour.
Thankfully, Walfredo Reyes, who's previously worked with Carlos Santana, has been hired to take Hester's place.
A post on the band's official website reads, "Hi All, Drew Hester notified Chicago that due to his primary passion of playing drums, he would leave the touring band to pursue this passion. Chicago has hired Walfredo Reyes on percussion, who will blow your mind, being a perfect fit for the touring band. In a short amount of time, he already fits the Chicago ensemble like a glove."
