Copeland, Carey & Peart Jam On “Count Drumula”

Some talking heads are calling it a new super group, although the new video featuring Stewart Copeland, Neil Peart, Danny Carey, and Les Claypool sure looks like little more than an impromptu jam session to us. Nonetheless, the clip – titled “Count Drumula” and recorded in Copeland’s L.A. studio – features some lively drumming underneath the repeated droning chant: “One, two, three, four.” Two particularly odd sightings — Carey coaxing goose honks on a trombone during select passages and DW mainstay Peart playing one of Copeland’s Tama kits (gasp!).

Enjoy the moment. This is a one-off, for sure.
