Stewart Copeland Performs "Ben-Hur" Score
Stewart Copeland is back at it again. The drummer has painstakingly gone through the 1925 Fred Niblo film, “Ben-Hur: A Tale of Christ” by restoring the color in every shot, re-framing every shot, and positioning it. He cut a few scenes as well to get the two and a half hour film down to 90 minutes. He also wrote a score, gave himself a bad ass drum part and found someone to commission the whole thing! His masterpiece will be performed live at the Virginia Arts Festival this coming Easter weekend.
