Orange County Coroner’s Report On Cause Of Jimmy Sullivan’s Death
Today Rolling Stone announced that Orange County Deputy Coroner Mitchell Sigal reported former Avenged Sevenfold drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan died on December 28, 2009 from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs and alcohol. The “acute polydrug intoxication” included painkillers Oxycodone and Oxymorphone, anxiety medications Diazempam/Nordiazepam, and ethanol — the intoxicant in alcohol. Sigal also noted that Sullivan had an enlarged heart, which may have played a role in his death.
