Despite the economy, the company was very successful in regard to its commitment in covering the drum industry in its position as the best magazine in the industry.

Getting Down With The Drummies
Enter Music Publishing’s Drummies, its annual awards/poll consisting of 40 categories, had record-breaking results with more than 6500 drummers casting votes. This year’s Drummies had some surprises; Aaron Spears (R&B and Studio Drummer) won two awards. Internet sensation Cobus Potgieter was Rising Star of the Year. Not unexpectedly, Neil Peart won his fourth straight Drummie in the category of “Best Drummer” while Stanton Moore won “Best Funk Drummer.” See all the winners here... Read the entire story.
