Ex-Damone Drummer Dustin Hengst Dies At 39

Dustin Hengst, the drummer for the pop-punk band Damone, passed away yesterday. He was 39. Hengst batted liver failure while hospitalized for the past three weeks in his home state of Texas. He endured health issues throughout his life, having had a lung removed as an infant, and lacking certain enzymes that would allow his liver to filter contaminants.

Damone released three albums between 2002 and 2008. After the band split up, Hengst went on to play with Bleu. Contributions to Hengst’s widow can be made at the .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) PayPal account.
