Following that event, at 7:30 P.M. you'll be able to stream the first Marvin McQuitty, Jr. Annual Scholarship Concert.
Marvin McQuitty, Jr. was an internationally acclaimed drummer and highly respected businessman who had a resounding impact on the music industry. His reach extended far beyond the drums and included audio engineering, record producing, booking manager, road manager, production manager and bassist. Marvin’s touring and recording credits include Fred Hammond, Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, and many more.
The concert will feature performances from world-renown artists and musicians that had close relationships with Marvin. Special guests will be Will Kennedy, Gorden and Teddy Campbell, Chris "Daddy" Dave, and others. A silent auction and scholarship endowment will take place during the concert, as well.
