Ginger Fish Quits Marilyn Manson

He endured endless humiliation and countless injuries at the hand of the controversial Marilyn Manson, who had a penchant for flinging heavy microphone stands at the drummer’s head in the middle of shows. So why did it take Manson’s longtime sidekick Ginger Fish (whose real name is Kenneth Robert Wilson) 18 years to quit the band?

According to Wilson, he resigned to “see where my life, and the knowledge of my availability cares to take me. I can’t stand by to watch opportunities pass me by simply because the knowledge of my availability wasn’t clearly expressed by me. I wish my brothers well, and I expect nothing but great things from them.”
