Public voting in the Hit Like A Girl 2012: The Contest For Female Drummers, ends on April 15th but there’s more to come! On April 19th Drumchannel (http://www.drumchannel.com) will host a very special live global show at 4:00 P.M. Pacific time to announce the finalists, including the top 12 vote-getters and wildcards. Guests on the program will include Dawn Richardson, Meytal Cohen, and others, along with DRUM! Publisher PhilHood and Tom Tom Magazine Publisher Mindy Seegal Abovitz. Viewers will get to see clips from the finalists and discussions from the judges and others. From April 19 to May the judges--Sheila E, Jess Bowen, Dawn Richardson (below), Kimberly Thompson, Susie Ibarra, and Hannah Ford, will be reviewing videos and making their final selections.
