If Lars Ulrich is even half as talented an actor as he is a drummer, you might want to catch him in the HBO drama, "Hemingway and Gelhorn." The legendary Metallica basher has been cast as Dutch documentarian Joris Ivens in the upcoming TV movie starring Clive Owen and Nicole Kidman.
The story centers on the romantic relationship between writers Ernest Hemingway (Owen) and Martha Gelhorn (Kidman). Gelhorn was Hemingway’s inspiration for the classic novel, For Whom The Bell Tolls, and the only woman to ever ask for a divorce from him.
This will be Ulrich’s first substantial role in a feature film. Check out the extended trailer below.
