Louisville To Host 2010 Musician Expo

Tradeshow production company, Convention Producers, Inc., is pleased to announce the 2010 Musician Expo will be held in Louisville, KY. The inaugural convention as well as all associated events will be held at the downtown, Kentucky International Convention Center.

“Hardly a day goes by that we are not asked why no one produced a show such as this one before” stated Paul Scott, VP of Sales and Marketing for Convention Producers. “For us, this show was created out of a need we saw within the music industry. Dealers and distributors have a great event in the NAMM show but musicians had nothing,” Scott said, referring to the National Association of Music Merchandisers trade show, held each January. Scott continued, “There are tradeshows for everyone and everything except the musician. Musicians should have the ability to see, touch and hear the instruments available. We feel this is possibly the first time musicians have had an opportunity to meet with this many manufacturers, dealers and distributors under one roof.”

The show will open Tuesday, March 2nd and run through Thursday, March 4th. In addition to over 300 exhibit booths, special events will fill the three days. There promises to be something for everyone, and every style of music. There is a huge Welcome Breakfast free for all attendees, a Flatpicking competition, Battle of the Bands contest, a Musician Appreciation party and much more.

Registration for the three-day event is $25 while a single day registration is $15. For more information visit the 2010 Musician Expo website at http://www.MusicianExpo.com.
