Punk drumming legend, Marky Ramone joined Fall Out Boy last weekend during the band's Brooklyn gig at Barclay Center. He played versions of the Ramone's "I Wanna Be Sedated" and "Blitzkrieg Bop" with the boys just for their Save Rock And Roll Arena Tour.
A big influence on the members of FOB, Marky was first invited to join the band when they helped organize a Hurricane Sandy repair effort at Rockaway Beach this past spring. With a nod to the location of The Ramone’s classic song, Marky joined the effort by donating and serving his award-winning pasta sauce with food to volunteers.
Next month, Marky will begin his tour, Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg, featuring Andrew W.K. on vocals. They will be reliving some of punk's best years, playing songs that took Marky from the CBGB stage to touring around the world.
