Pearl Gets Freaky For Its Dealers

Pearl Gets Freaky With Its Dealers

By Andy Doerschuk Published July 29, 2009

Nobody can accuse Pearl of being a party pooper. On July 16, the Nashville-based percussion giant got its groove on at Freaky Tiki -- an island-themed party the company hosted for the Alliance Of Independent Music Merchants (AIMM).

Complete with Taiko performers, Hawaiian leis, and Tiki torches, the group of independent full line retail buyers, owners, salesman, and their families were treated to an evening of music, barbeque, product demonstrations, giveaways, and unique sales opportunities. There was even a dunk tank, which provided dealers with the opportunity to “dunk” the credit manager.

(Left) Pearl’s Credit Manager, Jayson Bean, awaits a soaking at the Freaky Tiki Dunk Tank. Oh, if only we could have lobbed a slider at Terry West!
