Pink Floyd Drummer Saves Drum Shop

Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason is stepping in to save the music shop where he bought his very first drum kit. The drum kit was £7.50 at Foote's in 1958. Mason's provided the necessary funding to stop Foote's from going out of business. Check out why he's got so much love for the shop below.

  • I think we all can relate to this. There’s nothing like going into a drum store and salivating.  Kudos to Nick!

  • So true. For me it was Franks Drum Shop on Wabash Avenue in Chicago. It was the prototypical classic drum shop — half retail/half museum.
