Questlove Releases "Soul Train" Book
Questlove, the ever-busy, always-creating Roots drummer, will be releasing his second book at the end of this month.
It's been less than six months since his best selling memoir, Mo' Meta Blues: The World According to Questlove hit the shelves, and he's back with a historical look at one of the most influential shows in television history: Soul Train.
Soul Train: The Music, Dance, and Style of a Generation, commemorates the legacy of the long-running dance program that launched the careers of everyone from Tina Turner and Stevie Wonder to Aretha Franklin and the Jackson 5.
Questlove tells the story of a generation's most memorable variety show, with more than 350 photos, a foreword from Gladys Knight, and a preface by Nick Cannon.
Soul Train: The Music, Dance, and Style of a Generation can now be pre-ordered for $27. Official release date is set for October 22.
