Shawn Crahan is a mass of contradictions. Onstage with Slipknot he assumes his “Clown” persona, masterfully designed to shock and offend. Offstage he’s a creative visual artist, family man, and now a spokesperson for the anti-bullying cause that has gained momentum in recent years.
Crahan has partnered with two members of Sister Soleil and enlisted a number of teenagers from Geneva, Illinois to film a music video that will shed more light on the negative effects of bullying.
Shot next weekend at Geneva High School, the video will feature the song “Stand For The Silent,” which is also the name of an anti-bullying organization.
