On July 22, three legendary drummers – Matt Sorum (Guns’N Roses, Velvet Revolver), Stephen Perkins of Jane’s Addiction, and Frankie “Kash” Waddy of Parliament/Funkadelic – join six other mystery drummers in “Art Of Drums,” a groundbreaking fine art exhibit of music captured on canvas, developed in tandem with Los Angeles creativity house SceneFour.

Hundreds of drum bursts were recorded, reduced to light impulses, digitized, evaluated by several photographers and graphic artists, all under the direction of the artists. “This is something different than what people are used to seeing,” SceneFour Creative Director Cory Danziger states. “It’s a new medium. It’s not acrylic or oil, it’s light and color and sound captured. The rhythm is on display for you to see.“

Ten drummers will release ten different pieces, each presented in ten one-of-a-kind drafts, all numbered and signed. The collection will debut in Beverly Hills before going to galleries worldwide. For inquiries about the collection, visit and
