The Cribs drummer Ross Jarman is now recovering after undergoing a “gnarly” spinal surgery. The much-needed procedure was to correct a herniated disc, which was pushing on a nerve and causing him severe pain. The injury was sustained a few years ago but touring with the Cribs had made it difficult to schedule the surgery.
“There never seemed to be a good time to do it, so it kept getting put off and put off again,” Jarman said. “Things kept getting worse however to the point where even just sitting on a plane became a grueling ordeal, so the decision was made to have the operation after festival season finished this year.”
The 26 year old is expected to make a full recovery in time to begin working on the band's next album.
