Travis Barker Partner DJ AM Found Dead

DJ AM, a frequent collaborator with Travis Barker, was found dead in his NY apartment today, August 28.

DJ AM (aka Adam Goldstein) was found dead on Friday afternoon. This occurs approximately a year after DJ AM and Travis Barker survived the tragic crash that killed four people They were traveling in a Learjet after a performance in Columbia South Carolina. Barker and Goldstein survived but were in critical condition. (Barker discusses his post-crash experiences in DRUM!'s upcoming October issue, available September 12.)

Philadelphia native Goldstein came to prominence as a member of the band Crazy Town, known for their hit song "Butterfly." Since going on to DJing fulltime he has performed with numerous top stars and become a frequent musical collaborator with Barker. Their work together can be downloaded here.
