Trigger The Bloodshed Sheds A Drummer

Trigger The Bloodshed Parts Ways With Drummer Max Blunos

By Andy Doerschuk Published July 30, 2009

Breaking up isn't all that hard to do, at least not according to the remaining members of British death/grind band Trigger The Bloodshed, who just parted ways with long-time drummer Max Blunos. According to Bloodshed World Headquarters: "For a little while, Max has felt he has not been fulfilling the genre of music he wanted to pursue with a band. There are no hard feelings between Max and the band; he is still one of our best friends and we wish him all the luck and success in the world with his future projects."

Don't bands always say that? Perhaps these guys mean it, but nonetheless, there are blastbeats to be played. So the group didn't waste a moment recruiting a temporary replacement, Dan Wilding of Aborted, who will fill in during the band's Dominatour (playing alongside Annotations Of An Autopsy, Burning Skies, and Viatrophy). After all, the brutality must go on.
