Video: Tim Yeung Cuts Tracks With Morbid Angel

By Andy Doerschuk Published October 19, 2009

We just stumbled across this cool video of Tim Yeung tracking drums at Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida for Morbid Angel’s next album, which is due in early 2011. Yeung is sitting in for the band’s longtime drummer Pete Sandoval, who is recovering from back surgery. The thing that we found so cool about this clip is that you see exactly how Yeung recorded his parts – playing solo in the tracking room, ostensibly playing along to a click track or scratch demo. As a result, you really get a chance to witness his precise articulation.
