Willie Nelson’s Drummer Suffers Stroke

Willie Nelson’s longtime drummer, Paul English, has suffered a stroke. English, who resides in Dallas with his wife and three sons, has played with the country legend for almost half a century, and was commemorated in Nelson’s tune “Me And Paul” from the album Yesterday’s Wine. Nelson’s publicist, Elaine Schock, said that English “is being well taken care of. We expect him to be back on the road very shortly.” Updates on English’s condition will be posed on Willie Nelson’s website.
