George Harrison wasn’t kidding when he said that all things must pass.

After 18 years helming the drum kit for Christian punkers MxPx, drummer Yuri Ruley has announced that he will hang up the sticks to spend more time concentrating on his family. Nonetheless, he plans to close the door with a big bang at his last MxPx performance on July 18 at the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino in Las Vegas, where the band will play its third album, Life In General, in its entirety.

“With MxPx being a touring band and constantly on the road nine months out of the year, I knew at some point it would have to come to an end,” Ruley told drivenfaroff.com. “But the reality of it is a lot harder than I thought it would be.”
